Down the Rabbit Hole
An Illustration & Calligraphy Exhibition

Illustrator - Jocelyn Wat  |  Calligrapher - Kiki Lo

It was a Monday morning, the train was packed and suffocating as usual. Dreadful thoughts about upcoming deadlines were racing in my mind, and then I saw it-a White Rabbit in a waistcoat, pointing to his pocket watch. Then off he bounced from cart to cart along the train. Curious, and curiouser, I pushed past the shoulders around and went after him.

"Down the Rabbit Hole", meaning something magical and surreal is about to happen. I fell, and I invite you to fall with me -to a place where it feels safe but adventurous, surreal but familiar, illogical but right. Through revisiting the well-known and loved fairytales, allow the little one inside of you, to come out and play!

"We're late! Come with me, we're late" he said with his bright eyes. Then off he bounced from cart to cart. Curious, and curiouser, I went after him. "Wait!" I whispered, "wait!" The train was no longer a train, and the crowd was no longer a crowd. Before I knew it, I fell -all the way Down the Rabbit Hole!
